The Highgarden Team

  • Guillermo Tilley

Viva La Vida! Guillermo Tilley (he/him) is the General Manager of Highgarden Entertainment. A resident of Santa Fe for the past 28 years, Guillermo brings 35 years of experience in business, event production, and community building to his leadership role at Highgarden. Prior to Highgarden, Guillermo has worked with Santa Fe Community College, the Institute of American Indian Arts, the Uptime Institute, and the Small Business Development Center of Santa Fe (SBA affiliate).

When not deep in the various projects evolving at Highgarden, Guillermo can be found hiking La Tierra with his partner Marilyn, fly fishing any of the beautiful rivers of Northern New Mexico, immersed in a good book, or researching the next great cup of coffee. Guillermo shares his life with his beautiful partner, Marilyn and their two cats. Guillermo is also the father of the amazing, up and coming young chef, Nate Tilley who currently resides in Providence, RI.

  • Al LaFleur

Al LaFleur (she/they) is the Creative Director for Highgarden Entertainment. Having over 10 years in the industry as a Creative Director and Digital Content Manager in Los Angeles, Al found herself on a spontaneous road trip to Santa Fe in December 2022, immediately fell in love with the city, and decided over drinks at Cowgirl that this is where they wanted to be. Mere months later she made the big move, landed the role with Highgarden Entertainment, and the rest was history as they say.

When they’re not creating kick-ass content for their job, she spends a majority of her off-time looking for graphic design inspiration and combing over all the social media pages she runs. But in all seriousness in their spare time they love to go on roadtrips, see live music, mindlessly scroll on TikTok until they fall asleep, and play video games on their Nintendo Switch. If you see her around you’ll recognize them from horror film podcast Splice & Splatter!

  • Twig Deluje

Twig Delujé (he/they) is the Director of Acquisitions & Events for Highgarden Entertainment and the “Master of Story” at Beastly Books. Twig brings over sixteen years of publishing industry knowledge, over twenty-two years of creative writing experience, and a lifetime of geekdom to our crew.

Need someone to nerd out with you about Xena: Warrior Princess or Ninja Turtles? Want to talk about how The Thief of Always by Clive Barker is one of the best stories every created? Twig is your dude. When Twig isn’t onsite at Highgarden, which is rare, he’s at his cozy cottage style home outside of town. There he reads, plays W.O.W, cooks elaborate meals, and hangs out at his backyard firepit with his giant dog and flock of chickens.

  • Kris Vivian

Kris first started working at the Jean Cocteau Cinema in 2001 as a teenage popcorn-slinger and occasional projector-toucher until 2006 when the Trans-Lux chain closed down. Having dabbled with film projection before, he went on to learn the ins-and-outs of 35mm projectors--as well as that new-fangled 'digital cinema' thing that was beginning to rear its head--while working for the Santa Fe Film Festival and serving as lead tech for the festival's year-round home at The Film Center until its closure in 2009.

Left to wander the Earth(Albuquerque) for a few years and pursue an English Lit degree for reasons he's still uncertain of, he landed back in Santa Fe just in time to be offered a job by George RR Martin at the soon-to-reopen Jean Cocteau Cinema in 2013. Not one to resist fate, he's been the theater's Lead Projectionist and part-time Film Programmer ever since where his overused joke is that he simply "Came with the theater".

His favorite book is Solaris, favorite movie is 2001: A Space Odyssey, preferred TTRPG system is Apocalypse World(and its variations), and his favorite video game is Fallout 1.
